How to Export and Import Contacts on ProManage?

1. Navigate to the Contacts Page


  1. From the left navigation pane, click on “Contacts” to open the contacts dashboard.


2. Apply a Date Filter


  1. At the top of the page, use the date filter to choose from preset options:
  2. Last 1 Month (default)
  3. Last 2 Months
  4. Last 3 Months
  5. Last 6 Months
  6. Last 1 Year
  7. You can also set a custom date range, with a maximum range of 92 days between the selected start and end dates.


3. Export Contacts

  1. After applying the desired date range:
  2. Click the three dots (⋮) next to the date filter.
  3. Select “Download” from the dropdown.
  4. A CSV file containing the filtered contact list will be downloaded.

4. How to Import Contacts


Option 1: Bulk Import


  1. Click on the “Import Contacts” CTA button.
  2. A pop-up window will appear with an option to download a CSV template.
  3. The CSV template includes the following fields:
  4. Name: Name of the contact
  5. PhoneNumber: Contact’s mobile number
  6. EmailAddress: Contact’s email ID
  7. BusinessId: Business the contact interacted with
  8. Fill out the template and upload it via the same pop-up to import contacts.

Option 2: Add Single Contact

  1. Want to add just a few? Click on “Add Contacts” under the prompt “Want to add only a few contacts?”
  2. Fill in the form:
  3. Name
  4. Mobile Number
  5. Tick the box for “Exists in WhatsApp” if applicable
  6. Email
  7. City
  8. Pincode

5. Create Contact Groups (Optional)


  1. While importing, you can also create a group for these contacts to organize them better for future campaigns or reference.
