How to Edit a Review’s Sentiment in ProManage?

ProManage uses AI to automatically predict the sentiment of customer reviews. However, in certain cases, the predicted sentiment may not align with the actual context of the review text. To ensure accuracy in reporting and insights, ProManage allows you to manually edit a review’s sentiment.

Steps to Edit a Review’s Sentiment

Step 1: Navigate to the Reviews Page

  1. Go to the Reviews section.
  2. Hover over the review for which you want to edit the sentiment.


Step 2: Open the Sentiment Editor


  1. Click on the “Edit Sentiment” button that appears next to the review.
  2. A modal pop-up will open.


Step 3: Select New Sentiment & Provide Reason


  1. Choose the appropriate sentiment (e.g., Positive, Negative or Neutral).
  2. Enter the reason for changing the sentiment in the text box.


Step 4: Submit Changes


  1. Click the “Submit” button to confirm.
  2. The sentiment will be updated for that review.

Review Sentiment Flagging History

Every sentiment edit is recorded in ProManage for auditability and transparency.

To access edit history:

  1. Go to the edited review and click “More Details.”
  2. You will be redirected to the Flag History page.


The Review Sentiment Flagging History contains the following details:

  1. Date - The date the sentiment was edited.
  2. Review ID - The unique identifier of the review.
  3. Review Content - The original review text.
  4. Predicted Sentiment - The sentiment automatically predicted by AI.
  5. Edited Sentiment - The updated sentiment set by the user.
  6. Reason - The justification entered for the change.
  7. User Name - The name of the user who edited the sentiment.
  8. View Review - A direct link to view the full review.

With Review Sentiment Editing, ProManage ensures your analytics reflect the most accurate interpretation of customer feedback, balancing AI automation with human oversight.
