Why You Might Delete a Keyword?


Over time, some keywords may become irrelevant or no longer align with your current business focus. ProManage allows you to easily remove such keywords from your Rank Tracker so that your reporting stays clean, focused, and relevant.

Steps to Delete a Keyword


Follow the instructions below to permanently delete a keyword from your tracking list:

  1. Navigate to the Rank Tracker
  2. From the ProManage dashboard, go to the Rank Tracker section using the main navigation menu.
  3. Access the Summary Table
  4. On the Rank Tracker landing page, scroll down to find the Summary Table that displays all tracked keywords.
  5. Locate the Keyword
  6. In the table, identify the keyword you want to delete.
  7. Open the Action Menu
  8. In the rightmost column titled Action, click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the desired keyword.
  9. Select Delete
  10. From the dropdown menu, click on Delete.
  11. Confirm Deletion
  12. A prompt will appear: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”
  13. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
  14. Done
  15. The keyword will be permanently removed from your tracking list. This action cannot be undone.

Important Notes


  1. Deleting a keyword will remove all associated historical data from the tracker.
  2. You can always add the same keyword back manually, but past performance data will not be restored.
